Please read these terms of use carefully. By continuing to use the software you are confirming that you accept these terms of use, and you agree to comply with them.
If you do not agree with these terms of use you must not use the Scorescast app.
Scorescast App
BY CONTINUING TO USE THIS APP YOU ARE CONFIRMING THAT YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE SET OUT BELOW
Options
Whilst using the app there are a number of different options for how you use the app:
- Follower
- Match Agent
- Team Admin
- Club Admin
Follower
A follower, or a fan, is a user who follows one or more teams via the Scorescast app.
Match Agent
A match agent can use the Scorescast app to record the events of a match. A match agent must first be a follower of that team.
Team Admin
A team admin, usually a team coach or manager, can administrate the team’s information including adding fixtures, updating the team details, and add team agents from the followers of the team.
Club Admin
A club admin, usually a club chairman or secretary, can administrate the club’s information including adding teams, updating the club details, and adding team admins.
Privacy
All personal information provided or obtained through the Scorescast app will be kept secure and processed in accordance with our Privacy and Data Policy. If you enter any personal information about any other person into the Scorescast App, it is your responsibility to understand how that data will be managed.
Ownership of materials
The Scorescast app, the design of it and all materials included, or provided to you through it, are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights and laws throughout the world and are owned by us and/or third parties.
INFRINGEMENT OF THESE RIGHTS IS A SERIOUS MATTER AND THE OWNER OF THE RIGHTS (KARKADAN DEV LTD) MAY PURSUE A CLAIM AGAINST YOU IF YOU INFRINGE THEM.
License Terms
You are licensed to use these Apps provided you DO NOT:
- alter or remove any of the content without our express written permission or copy, distribute, modify or create any derivative works from the app in whole or part without our prior written consent.
- use the app or any of the information provided on or through it for:
- any unlawful purpose or in contravention of applicable law
- commercial exploitation without our prior written consent
- advertising or direct marketing without our prior consent
- any unlawful or inappropriate advertising
- any purpose or in any manner that may give a false or misleading or negative impression of us, any of our staff or services or any other person
- change or delete any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices.
- use, upload or transmit:
- any material that is defamatory, offensive, obscene, sexually orientated, racist, threatening, intimidating, false, misleading or otherwise unlawful, or which may cause offence or distress or which may affect or infringe the rights of any other person.
- any device, software, file or mechanism which may interfere with the proper operation of the app or our systems.
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer (or attempt to do any of them) the app.
- do anything that may interfere with or disrupt the app, our systems or our services.
- impersonate any other person when using the app.
- encourage or permit others to do any of the above
Suitability of the app
No assurance is given that the Apps or materials on them are suitable for your requirements or that they will be secure, error or virus free and you use them at your own risk.
No assurance is given that the data is recorded and the data will not be verified by Scorescast.
Feedback
Any feedback you give about the app may be used by us for developing future versions or other apps or services without any obligation to compensate you for your contribution. But we are very grateful for all your help!
Availability to download
The app is provided free of charge, as is and as available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
We do not make any guarantee that they will be error free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the app, or any of their features, at any time without notice and without incurring any liability.
Updates and changes
From time to time we may automatically update or change the app to improve performance, enhance functionality, reflect changes to the operating system or address security issues. Alternatively, we may ask you to update the app for these reasons.
If you choose not to install such updates or if you opt out of automatic updates you may not be able to continue using the app.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME. THE NEW VERSION WILL BE UPLOADED TO THE APP AND WILL TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY UPON POSTING.
IF YOU USE THE APP AFTER THE NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS HAVE COME INTO EFFECT, YOU WILL BE INDICATING YOUR AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY THE NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

If you think the app is faulty or misdescribed or wish to contact us for any other reason, please fill out a bug report here.
If we have to contact you we will do so by email, using the contact details you have provided to us.
Suitability and accuracy of content on the app
The content on the app is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice or information on which you should rely.
Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on the app, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content shown on the app is accurate, complete or up to date.
If you wish to complain about information or materials on the app please contact us.
Bugs
We do not guarantee that the app will be free from bugs.
Misuse
You must not:
- misuse the app by knowingly or recklessly inserting malicious code, introducing logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app software, the server on which the app data is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our apps and site.
- attack the app or app servers via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.
In the event of your breach of this provision of these terms of use, your right to use the app will cease immediately.
Acceptable use and restrictions
Acceptable use
Whenever you make use of the app and a feature that allows you to upload content to or to interact with the app you must comply with the standards set out in these terms of use and further below.
You warrant that your use of the app does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.
Any content you upload to the app will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.
You retain all of your ownership rights in your content, but you are required to grant us and other users of the app a limited licence to use, store and copy that content and to distribute and make it available to third parties.
The rights you license to us include the right to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform the content in connection with the app across any and all media for the following purposes:
- operation of the app (including allowing third parties to use your content in accordance with the functionality of the app);
- marketing;
- publicity;
- research and development; and
- data sharing.
We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to the app constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
We have the right to remove any data you provide on the app if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with the content standards set out in these terms of use.
Restrictions on use
You must not:
- use the app in any unlawful manner, for any unlawful purpose, or in any manner inconsistent with these terms of use, or act fraudulently or maliciously, for example, by hacking into or inserting malicious code, such as viruses, or harmful data, into the Software or any operating system;
- infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any third party in relation to your use of the app, including by the submission of any material or use of the app in accordance with any interactive elements of its functionality (to the extent that such use is not licensed by these terms of use);
- transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive or otherwise objectionable in relation to your use of the app;
- use the app in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or compromise our systems or security or interfere with other users; or
collect or harvest any information or data from or our systems or attempt to decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running any service. - use the app for commercial, or professional, purposes without express permission.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Personal data and privacy
We only use any personal data we collect through your use of the app in the ways set out in our privacy and data policy.
Please be aware that internet transmissions are never completely private or secure and that any message or information you send using the app may be read or intercepted by others, even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission is encrypted.
Other data we may collect
By using the app you agree to us collecting and using technical information about the devices you use the app on.
Registration and login to the app
You will sign in via one of our third-party services as part of our registration and login procedure and must treat such information as confidential.
If you know or suspect that anyone else knows your password for any of the third-parties, you must promptly notify update your security via that third-party service directly.
The third-party services you can login or register using are:
- Apple Login
- Google Login
- Facebook Login
Our responsibility is to ensure our app and all software and code remains compliant with each third-party services’ terms of service.
Additional legal provisions
We may transfer this agreement to someone else
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms of use to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.
You need our consent, and support, to transfer your rights to someone else
You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms of use to another person if we agree in writing.
If you require that your role as a Club Admin be transferred to someone else, please contact us to arrange this.
If a court finds part of these terms of use illegal, the rest will continue in force
Each of the paragraphs of these terms of use operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings
As a user, please note that these terms, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by Romanian and EU law. You and we both agree that the courts of Romania will have exclusive jurisdiction.
